Coverage That Cares

Our policies have been crafted with pet lovers in mind, covering a range of situations that could impact your trip:

Trip Cancellation Due to Pet Loss

• If your pet or service animal passes away within 30 days prior to your scheduled departure date, you can cancel your trip and receive coverage for the cancellation. To claim this benefit, you simply need to provide veterinary records documenting the illness, injury, or death of your pet or service animal.

Trip Interruption Due to Pet Loss

• If the unthinkable happens while you’re on your trip and your pet or service animal passes away, our policy covers trip interruption. Like the cancellation coverage, you will need to provide veterinary records documenting the illness, injury, or death of your pet or service animal.

Pet Return Coverage

• In the unfortunate event that you are hospitalized during your trip due to a covered sickness or injury and are unable to return home, we offer pet return coverage. We will reimburse you up to $1,000 for the reasonable expenses incurred to return your domestic pet(s) to your primary residence in the United States. This includes the cost of an attendant, if necessary, ensuring that your pet is safely returned home. It’s important to note that this benefit is for transportation expenses only and will not duplicate any other benefits payable under the policy.
