How do I sign up for Redpoint?

It’s easy! When you book your trip with Geographic Expeditions, you’ll have the option to add travel protection through your MyGeoEx portal which is emailed to you upon signup. Additionally, you can add a policy by calling Redpoint Travel Protection at 415-481-0610.

What is Redpoint Travel Protection?

Think of Redpoint as your safety net while traveling. From trip cancellation and delays to medical emergencies and lost luggage, Redpoint helps keep your journey stress-free.

How is a covered Family Member defined?

In most cases, a Family Member includes the people closest to you — your spouse or domestic partner, your children (including children-in-law), your siblings, parents, and legal guardians, as well as grandparents and grandchildren.

Why should I consider travel protection?

Life happens! Illness, weather, or family emergencies can disrupt even the best-planned vacations. Travel protection helps safeguard your investment and gives you peace of mind before and during your trip.

Will it cover pre-existing conditions?

Yes, the pre-existing conditions exclusion may be waived if you purchase the plan within 15 days of your initial payment and you are not disabled from travel at the time your premium is paid. It’s one more way we make sure you’re taken care of.

What if I get sick or injured while traveling?

Redpoint’s 24/7 medical team is just a phone call away. They can coordinate care, arrange emergency evacuation if needed, and guide you to trusted doctors or hospitals anywhere in the world.

Can I change my mind after purchasing?

Our plans include a “free look” period of 10 days where you can cancel for a full refund if you haven’t started your trip or filed a claim.

Who do I call if I need help on my trip?

Redpoint’s global assistance team is available around the clock. Their contact information will be included with your policy documents so you’re never traveling alone.

What about my luggage?

If your bags are delayed, lost, or stolen, Redpoint helps cover the cost of replacement essentials so you can get back to enjoying your vacation.

Do I have to buy travel protection?

No, it’s optional. But most travelers find that having protection in place makes their vacation feel even more carefree.

How do I file a claim?
