The Redpoint Photo Competition: Complete Guide

 

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the inaugural Redpoint Photo Competition, and we can’t wait to see the captivating moments you capture! Whether you’re an amateur or a seasoned photographer, this competition is your chance to showcase your talent and creativity.

Competition Categories:

 

Wildlife in the Moment: Capture the raw beauty and natural behavior of wildlife.

 

 

 

Captivating Landscapes: Showcase the unique charm and natural beauty of landscapes.

 

Cultural Essence: A Single Frame Story: Convey the essence and spirit of a specific culture within a single frame.

 

Prizes

The winner of each category will receive a Ripcord Family Annual Program, which includes Medical and Security Evacuation services valued at $1150.

 

 

 

How to Enter:

 

Submitting your entries is easy! Simply email your photos to photos@redpointtravelprotection.com Remember, you can enter one photo per category. Please ensure your digital images are in JPG format and are no larger than 10 MB.

  • Send one photo per email.
  • Write the name of the Photo Category in the subject line.
  • Provide your full name and give your photo a title.

 

 

 

 

 

Entry specifications

 

  • Photos should be submitted in a digital format, preferably JPEG or PNG, with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI to ensure clarity and quality.
  • Each photo should not exceed [10MB] to facilitate easy uploading and downloading.
  • Submitted photos must be the original work of the participant and must not infringe upon any third-party copyrights or intellectual property rights. Any plagiarism or unauthorized use of copyrighted material will result in disqualification.
  • Photos should not contain any offensive, explicit, or inappropriate content, including but not limited to nudity, violence, hate speech, or illegal activities.
  • Minor adjustments to brightness, contrast, color balance, and cropping are permitted. However, excessive digital manipulation that alters the original content of the photo (e.g., adding or removing elements, heavy use of filters) is discouraged and may affect judging.
  • Watermarks or any other form of identifying marks should not be included on the photos submitted for the competition. The organizers will add appropriate credits if the photo is selected for publication or exhibition.

Terms of use

 

  • By submitting a photo to the competition, participants grant the organizers the right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display the photo (including any accompanying information such as captions) for the purposes of the competition, promotion, and exhibition. This may continue even after the competition has ended. This allows the organizers to continue promoting past competitions and showcasing winning entries.
  • The organizers reserve the right to use the submitted photos, with proper attribution, for promotional and marketing purposes related to the competition.
  • Whenever the organizers use a participant’s photo, they will provide appropriate credit to the photographer by displaying their name or username alongside the photo whenever feasible.
  • Participants agree not to submit photos that contain sensitive or illegal content. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any photos deemed inappropriate or offensive.
